“Abide.” from 1 John 2:24-29. When we choose to be in a relationship with someone we are committing to spend a portion of our life with them. Whether it be an acquaintance, friendship, or our marriage, relationships require an abiding commitment and protection to maintain their health. But what of our relationship with God, are we seeking to abide with Him and put in the time necessary for a fruitful life now and a joyful future in God’s Kingdom?
