“Diligence!” from 2 Peter 1:5-11. The blessing of the divine nature of God will always produce a change in the life of the sinner who receives the Lord Jesus as their Savior. But it is most fruitful and works best when we choose to cooperates with that new nature. This is a calling that must not be a lackadaisical attempt at doing God’s will, but an intense effort of personal diligence to add godly character to our faith.
