Leviticus 5:1-19

Most of us think of sin in terms of the obvious—the scandals, the public failures, the sins that make headlines. But Leviticus 5 reminds us that some of our greatest spiritual dangers are found in the sins we barely notice. A failure to speak when we should, careless words, hidden compromises, or even sins committed in ignorance can quietly damage our fellowship with God and others.
The good news is that God doesn’t expose our guilt to shame us; He exposes it to restore us. Leviticus 5 reveals a God whose holiness is so perfect that He sees what we overlook, yet whose grace is so abundant that He provides a way for every repentant sinner to come home.
