Romans 3:1-20

Some of us were raised in church, memorizing Scripture, attending youth group, serving, and maybe even singing in the choir. Others found faith later in life, often from vastly different backgrounds. (We were the pagans that Paul had already written about.)
Yet the paradox we face is this: Romans 3 teaches that greater spiritual privilege (i.e., growing up in or around the church) doesn’t improve our standing with God — it increases our accountability to Him. The Jews had God’s Word, yet that same Word condemned their sin as it does ours. So what does this mean for those of us who have grown up with the truth?
