“Understanding Suffering” from 1 Peter 4:12-19. If we draw breath into our lungs, we can be sure there is no hiding from suffering. Oh, we my try to run from or deny suffering, but its reality is unavoidable. Yet, Christians should handle suffering with a dignity and grace the rest of creation can’t understand. Why? Because we have been taught the reasons for, and the purpose of our suffering, and should rejoice and be glad in those times.
