“The Greatest Among You” from Mark 9:30-41. Authority, power, riches, prestige, a life of ease and luxury are often associated with authority! Being the first, the strongest and the victor is also a common misconception of greatness. But Jesus turns our natural conceptions of our world upside down when He teaches, the first will be last and the last will be first, and the greatest will be the servant of all. If we want to be great in the Kingdom of God, we must choose serve others selflessly.
